***PLEASE NOTE THESE CHANGES TO FURR JAM 2018***…

The event, initially planned as a benefit for SOAR, Paws Place Dog Rescue and BCSAPS, has been changed to a “Hurricane Florence Relief Concert” for the benefit of area hurricane victims, including Fix A Friend Spay Neuter Clinic in Winnabow.  The event date has changed from Friday September 28 to Saturday September 29.  In addition, the event has been moved from the St. James Amphitheater in Woodlands to the St. James Community Building on NC-211 (Southport – Supply Road).  The time is unchanged.

“Fix A Friend” has played a major role in helping reduce pet overpopulation in the county by performing nearly 40,000 low cost spay/neuter surgeries since 2013.  Much of their structure, equipment, furnishings and supplies was permanently damaged due to severe flooding of their building. Attendees will be able to make donations in their behalf at the concert.  The music will be provided at no charge by Mike’s Garage Band.  Donations of non perishables and by cash or check will be most appreciated.  If you are not attending, but would like to donate, contact Mike Haase at 253-6025.

***Wristbands that you had obtained earlier with your $10 donations will be your admission to the concert.  Those donations that were collected from you by SOAR representatives will still go to SOAR.***
