SOAR recently experienced this first-hand with the receipt of an unexpected donation of over $1500 delivered by Mike from Oak Island NC Elks Lodge 2769. Oak Island Elks Lodge recently held their Spring Fling and in addition to music and food, the event included a 50/50 raffle and Paul, the winner of the 50/50 pool, donated his entire windfall to SOAR.
So thankful for the members of our community that help provide the funds needed to care for the dogs and cats awaiting their forever homes.
