I used to eat at a schoolhouse, but not from the cafeteria like everyone else. No, I was hungry and homeless and had to dig for food in the dumpsters behind the school building. That where my foster parents found me! They took me home with them and fell in love with me, but when I went to the veterinarian, it was discovered that I have feline leukemia. My foster folks had six other cats, so they sadly brought me to SOAR in the hopes that someone reading this will adopt me. The best news is that my foster parents have promised to pay any medical expenses that are related to my condition. I will need to be adopted into a home with no other cats, or one with cats who are leukemia positive like me. My name is Demi and I am a darling 6-year-old female who is loving and gentle.
