SOAR has many wonderful volunteers who work in many aspects of our rescue shelter. We can never have too many volunteers, if you have some spare time and love animals, please consider becoming a volunteer. This is a list of what our volunteer needs are.
Cat Room Helpers ~ Clean the cat rooms and kennels
Dog Walkers ~ Walk the dogs
Special Event Helpers ~ We do fundraisers and can always use help
We recently lost our beloved dog and I have some heartworm medicine (Heartgard for 51-100 lbs) and Sentry Fiproguard (for dogs 45-88 lbs). Can you use or even accept these medications? I also have some shampoo and treats if you can use those as well. I would like to voluteer as well but am not sure if I can handle it quite yet.
