They are great! Just seen them today. They were adopted 2 weeks ago together!! They are getting big, I wish I would of got a picture. Their new daddy is a police officer and seen them while they were still on the bottle. He bottle fed them that day, but they stayed with their foster mom til they were eating on their own. He said they love to sleep with him and he is really enjoying them.

I was just wondering how the babies are doing…… I think of them often and wonder how they are doing. At times I wish I didn’t have allergies.

Just had to write and tell you how very much we are loving
Bandit. He is a super little dog and so very loving. Thank you for him. He and Koko get along so well its hard to believe they were not always together

Hi SOAR family,

Although we moved away with Sampson(adopted in 2010, called Mr. BoBo Bear), we check on this great shelter often. Thank you for the work you do and the lives you change…both 2 and 4(sometimes 3)legged. I am always reminding my friends in Southport that you are OPEN FOR ADOPTION!

Since our move, we have adopted another friend–Lily the lab. We have found a shelter here that does amazing work as well!

Hi, Dominick. I don’t believe we met when you adopted Shorty from us last year. I just want to say that I thoroughly enjoy your updates. As a long time volunteer who readily grows attached to the cats and dogs who come under our care, I can tell you it’s uplifting to hear of their good fortunes with folks like yourself. HELLO FROM HOLDEN BEACH! WELL IT IS APRIL ALREADY AND SHORTY IS DOING HIS SPRING CLEANING? HE WENT TO THE POND YESTERDAY FOR A SWIM! CAME OUT LOOKING LIKE A RIVER RAT. PRETTY STINKY TOO. SO OFF FOR A HERBAL BATH. HE HAS A NEW LADY NOW, HEIDI WHO IS AN 11 OR SO WIENER DOG. AS USUAL SHORTY IS SMITTEN WITH HER, BUT HIS REGULAR GAL PAL BIG NELL IS STILL HIS ONE AND TRUE LOVE.
